§ 113-1. Legislative intent.

The purpose of this chapter is to protect the public health, welfare and safety by regulating the operation of snowmobiles on Village streets and public lands of Pulaski in a manner which will be compatible with the use of such streets for vehicular and pedestrian travel and other uses, and which will promote the safe and proper use of the snowmobiles and minimize detrimental effects of such use on the environment. It is further intended herein that the use of snowmobiles as herein allowed shall be for the purpose of gaining access to a permissible area to another, and not for "pleasure operating."
